Show Off Your Achievements—Get Insider Job Market Information
A PMI certification—recognized globally—validates that you have the knowledge, skills and experience to contribute to project, strategic and organizational success. And, you worked hard to earn it—why not show everyone your accomplishment?
Now you can quickly and easily share verified proof of your distinguished PMI certification wherever and whenever you choose. PMI has partnered with Acclaim to provide you with a digital badge that proudly displays your professional qualifications and achievements. Plus, your badge comes with valuable job market information so that you can keep your career moving forward.
PMP credentials are one of the desired certifications with more than 2.000 job request any given day!
And nowadays it is totally usual for recruiters collecting information potential hires on the Internet by reviewing their LinkedIn profile and other social platforms for instance.
So, how can you benefit from this situation and make your online presence credible and outstanding?
The new “digital badges” by PMI is a great option to do so!
What is a ‘digital badge’?
PMI has begun to give away digital badges to successful candidates through its PMI Certification Digital Badge program.
Therefore PMI has partnered with Acclaim, a company that manages such digital badges.
Acclaim issues these digital badges on behalf of organizations that offer certification exams such as PMI, Microsoft, VMWare and others. It then provides the recruiters a way to verify the certification specific information of potential hires.
Broadcast Your Accomplishments
Your badge is a digital version of your certification, skills and qualifications. It allows you to easily show your colleagues, friends or potential employers:
- When you earned the certification
- What key skills are associated with the certification
- What it takes to qualify for the certification
- The work you do to actively maintain the certification
You can share your badge on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, in an email signature or embed it in a website. And, you can share your accomplishment with anyone, anywhere—it’s up to you!
“What are the benefits for me?”
However, your credentials need to be broadcast to the right people on right platforms. And this digital badge (more if you have other PMI certifications) helps you do just that.
Recruiters get to see the stringent requirements of the certification, the skills you would have gained during the process, and the standards that the certification meets. This is a powerful marketing tool for you!
Stay Competitive and Find More Opportunities
Your digital badge also provides you with useful labor market insights that you can leverage to advance your career. The Acclaim platform allows you to access information such as:
- Job openings that are looking for your PMI certification
- Salaries you can expect to earn
- Which employers are looking for individuals with your skills
How to Get Your Digital Badge
After earning your certification, you will receive an email from Acclaim notifying you that PMI has issued you a badge. Click the Accept button below your badge image. This will take you to the Acclaim page, where you will create an account to claim your badge.
Acclaim will ask that you confirm your email. Then it’s time to sign in to your Acclaim account, claim your badge and share your achievement.
